GUI3000’s file explorer has been designed to act as closely as practical to the Windows file explorer. Posix directories are highlighted to distinguish them from MPE/iX directories. From the file explorer, you can edit a file, using our own ‘simple’ editor, or the more sophisticated offerings of Programmers Studio from Whispertech, or Qedit for Windows from Robelle. File Explorer is probably the most powerful component of GUI3000. We have tried to think of everything. When you click on a directory in the tree view, we even tell you how much disc space it is using.
