GUI3000 understands the file types on the HPe3000, therefore double-clicking on a file does different things. On a ‘text’ file it will view the file (configurable to Edit if required). On a Database, it will run DBExplorer. On a program file, it will ask if you wish to run the program in your chosen Terminal Emulator. GUI3000 completely obeys MPE/iX security, so no-one can look at files or database they do not have permissions on. Click on the image below to see the various options offered. |
